Innovative priority for the development of agricultural production in Russian Primorye in the context of ensuring food security in the Far East

The results of studies of the effectiveness of government strategies and programs for accelerated socio-economic development of the Far East adopted in the last ten years are presented. Identified as one of the reasons for the steady decline in regional demographic potential is the relatively low provision of the population with locally produced agricultural products. The prospects for increasing its volumes in Russian Primorye are proven, subject to the introduction of new land resources into circulation, the restoration and modernization of reclamation systems created during the socialist period, the construction of a complex of hydraulic structures to protect them from annual flooding, and an increase in the innovative activity of agricultural organizations.
