Foreign languages in designing and implementing international educational projects: challenges and perspectives

The article presents the experience in implementing international educational and scientific projects accumulated by the department of foreign languages and general linguistics of East Siberian state Institute of culture. The authors reveal some challenges justifying the necessity of forming foreign language communicative competence by the participants of the educational process for implementing strategy of higher learning institutions internationalization. Besides, some perspectives in expanding partners’ connections with foreign universities are outlined.
