Foreign text as the way of communication skills development

The article provides the methodological analysis of work with the text in the foreign language widely used in teaching the students of “non-linguistic” fields. The text work is divided into 3 main stages: before-, during- and after text one, each having the definite set of tasks. The suggested tasks are thoroughly analyzed at the practical examples. The author demonstrates in what way each of the tasks contributes to the development of the students’ communicative skills.
