Institutional aspects of economic activities of agricultural organizations of the Chelyabinsk region

The paper investigates the changes in inequality in the distribution of economic activities of agricultural organizations in the Chelyabinsk region in the process of institutional change. We believe that if we consider the changes in inequality in the distribution of economic activities of organizations, this will allow us to draw a first approximation of the quality of the institutional environment in which these organizations are included. With the help of the Teyla index, using statistical data from 194 to 294 organizations of the agroindustrial complex of the Chelyabinsk region for the period from 2006 to 2012 and from 2013 to 2017, the presence of statistically significant changes in the average values of the inequality index in the distribution of economic activities of the districts of the Chelyabinsk region was revealed, which indicates the impact of such an institutional change as the entry of the Russian Federation into the world trade organization.
