The proposed article offers a brief summary of the analysis of the developing situation in Russian higher education in connection with the rejection of the Bologna educational model, but at the same time, while maintaining the institution of the magistracy as institutions, it has a certain positive potential for the sovereignization of the Russian state. In the article, the author considers the possible future functions of the post-Bologna Russian magistracy, which can become its real independent application.
