Integration as an innovative paradigm in terms of modernization of national education

The article discusses the theoretical basis of the problem of integration of school and university as a factor in the development of a new educational system in modern conditions of modernization of national education; it reveals different approaches to the essence of the concept of «innovation»; and stresses that only a holistic interaction of school and university enables the formation of a creative, competitive personality.
