The article provides a theoretical grounding for the use of a non-parametric multifunctional criterion in diagnosing the efficiency of the teaching model and technology aimed at the preparation of undergraduate students of the teachers training institute to the organisation of touristic and regional studies activities of pupils in a high school. Application of the above criterion for the verification of results achieved during the study is explained.
