The article presents the author’s methodology for integrating non-verbal communication into the process of teaching Spanish as a second foreign language at the university at levels A2-B2 (bachelor’s and master’s degrees). The results of the study are presented, indicating that the inclusion of non-verbal communication in the educational process significantly increases the intercultural competence of students. The experimental group, in contrast to the control group, showed a pronounced increase in the correct use of authentic gestures. A three-level training system with an emphasis on professional scenarios (business, tourism, media) has been developed. A conclusion is made about the effectiveness of the proposed methodology, primarily in the context of professional communication.
