A didactic model and structural as well as content characteristics of priority educational blocks of integrative module teaching/learning technology, that are an important tool to develop cognitive activity of students, for physical culture higher school students are presented. Distinctive features of the integral module technology are analyzed, to distinguish it from the traditionally used educational technologies in the teaching/learning system where the learning information is presented to the student as explanation and illustration. Authors’ definition of “student’s cognitive activity” is formulated.
