Integrative potential of project activities in French language teaching at the university

The article deals with the topical problem of implementation of students’ project activities in the process of learning in higher education. Based on the retrospective analysis of the project method formation in the world pedagogical theory and practice, employers’ requirements to university graduates as well as taking into consideration motivational and value characteristics of the modern youth generation, the author comes to the conclusion about the effectiveness of project technologies in forming key competences of a future specialist in the field of teaching foreign languages and presents her own algorithm of project work in French classes.
