Problem and purpose. The work is devoted to the problem of development and evaluation of informational and communicative competence of teacher training college students, who will carry out their professional activities in a modern school. This article is aimed at developing an informational and communicative competence model for the students of the Department of Physical Culture, on the basis of which the informational and communicative competence development and assessment process will be implemented. The methodologyof the research consists of theoretical and empirical research methods, including analysis and generalization of normative legal documents in the field of advanced education, research work of Russian scientists. Results. The informational and communicative competence model was designed on the basis of the system integration of the discipline “Informatics and informational and communicative competence in professional activities” and extracurricular educational work of the college. The evaluation system and measured indicators of the formedness of informational and communicative competence are proposed. Conclusion. A model of informational and communicative competence based on the system integration of the discipline “Informatics and informational and communicative competence in professional activities” and extracurricular educational work of the college was developed. The results of the work are of practical value for the creation of a pedagogical resource dedicated to the development of informational and communicative competences of teacher training college students, for whom the disciplines related to computer science are not profile.
