In this article the problem of intellectual personal development of urban and rural Buryat teenagers at the age of 11-15 years is examined. The question the intellectual of development is brought up from the standpoint of the Conception of development of mathematical education in the Russian Federation. The authors substantiate the importance and the role of intellectual personal development at the growing age. The research of intellectual and personal special features of Buryat adolescents resulted in the data which defined the development of intellectual qualities. The authors underline the necessity of providing the pedagogical conditions for an effective intellectual personal development of teenagers. The steps to form the intellectual qualities are emphasized by means of personal features of Buryat teenagers: motivational, national, estimating and reflexive. At every step there are pedagogical conditions as the system of objective possibilities of content, forms, and methods affecting teenagers and creating the environment where the development of intellect happens.
