In the modern conditions the intellectual potential of the individual is one of the important bases of progressive development of society. Intelligent manufacturing is one of the decisive factors of economic development, as a key form of property - intellectual property. Intellectual self-development of pupils and way of thinking are becoming one of the most urgent problems of the educational process. The article reveals the basic concepts of the investigated phenomenon: the intellect, intellectual development, intellectual activity, self-development are examined; the criteria and indicators of intellectual selfdevelopment of pupils. Presented organizational-pedagogical conditions conducive to a review process.
