Intellectual capital and labour: evolution of the factor of production theory

The concept of intellectual capital formed in the mid 90's of the past century has become modern tendency of science and practice of management attracting attention of the scientists and managers. During the almost twenty-year history large experience of intellectual capital management in the companies, which keep up with the time, has been accumulated, a lot of new models of intellectual capital, which explain the different aspects of this phenomenon, have appeared. In this article the author represents his approach to the treatment of the essence of intellectual capital as the continuation of the evolution of the theory of production factors, which is the result of ten-year studies in this region.
