The growth intensity of phomopsis isolates in the culture under different temperatures and the toxicity of their cultural filtrates for sunflower seedlings

The article provides the results of studying of the growth intensity of colonies and the toxicity of cultural filtrates of Phomopsis isolates, which differ in macromorphological traits and by the presence of spores in alfa pycnidia. The comparison of the growth rate of isolate cultures under different temperatures revealed that the identified differences are not connected with the presence of spores in alfa pycnidia. The growth intensity of colonies depended on the cultivation temperature and was maximum under 26°C. The toxicity of cultural filtrates in relation to sprouting of sunflower seeds also is not connected with the conidium presence in alfa-pycnidia.
