The technology for the effective organization of educational process in higher education institution becomes one of the main objectives in modern education use new innovative. In article the place and efficiency of use of interactive methods when studying a course of informatics in higher education institution are considered. The interactive model of training is carried out in the conditions of continuous, active interaction of students among themselves, with the teacher, external environment and provides a certain joint activity of trainees. Authors give the main forms of work and provide their short analysis, investigating opportunities in interactive training. In the conclusion of the research, authors come to a conclusion that in the course of studying of informatics gives the chance to change forms of their activity, to switch attention to nodal questions of a subject of occupations, allow to develop critical thinking at students.
