This article is devoted to the consideration of the risks of virtualization of modern Russian education, taking into account the possible interests of both students and the teaching staff, as well as the analysis of the institutionalization of interactive educational practices, which were even more actualized in the context of global viral threats. The prospects of modern Russian education are considered, taking into account the pressure of global technological and information trends that generate new competitive challenges in the market of electronic educational services. It is noted that the media presence of teachers should become an important aspect of the development of universities and the formation of "openness" of university education.
