The article discusses the most effective use of interactive technologies used while the learning the course “Teaching methods of the subject “The world around us”. For the development of professional competences of students it is necessary to improve the educational process towards the change the educational content, the use of various pedagogical, including interactive technologies to enhance their independent work. The interactive technologies are based on the principles of interaction, students’ activity, relying on group experience, mandatory feedback. In higher educational institution the environment of educational communication is created which is characterized by openness, interaction of participants, equality of their arguments, accumulation of joint knowledge, possibility of mutual evaluation and control. A future teacher of primary school while using the interactive technologies learns to apply scientific and social science knowledge for orientation in the modern information space.
