The interests of the child as one of the mechanisms for the effective protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the child

The article deals with the category “of children’s interests”. It analyzes the judicialpractice in the Russian Federation on disputes about upbringing of children, the draft law, opinionsof scientists, lawyers on the composition of the construction “of interests of children”, its filling,discussions about the expediency of its fixation in the Family Code of the Russian Federation.The author comes to the conclusion that, given the complexity of the construction “of children’sinterests”, the multivariability of the concept, to fix a self-sufficient definition “of children’sinterests” is not possible.
