Intermedial transformations of Russian folk tale “The flying ship” (to the problem of audio description)

The article is devoted to intermedial transformations of Russian folk tale “The Flying Ship” in screen and stage adaptations that should be considered in audio description of the performance. Key plot, character and conflict transformations and visual dominants are identified. Key visual themes are: art-deco and steampunk styles, aviation, birds and wings motive, Star Wars reminiscences and political satire features.
