Internet services in professional activity of university faculty

Currently, many faculty members provide e-learning education and actively use internet services. However, not all internet services are effective for students. To provide support for the educators it is important to understand how educators use digital resources in educational process. The paper is aimed to identify the most useful internet services. Survey methods, ana-lysis of the survey results and expert assessment of information were used. A comparison analysis of the results of the surveys of 2002 and 2014 was made. The most popular Internet resources for the educators of Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities were defined. The Internet resources utilization analysis of the faculty of Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities was made. Such sort of analysis has not been done before as social networks have not been considered to be an important tool for e-learning. The practical significance of the study is that the list of Internet resources that are important for teachers in their professional activities was made.
