The interpretation of the phenomenon "the media competence of the future engineer" and organizational-pedagogical conditions of its formation

On the basis of new information needs of modern society studied the essence of the concept of media competence of technical students - future engineers. Developed organizational and pedagogical conditions aimed at the formation of the investigated phenomenon. The author believes that the presence of the future engineer of such an important personality as media competence, necessary for the professional subculture of graduates from all engineering majors, and its formation is one of actual problems of pedagogy.
