Sobornost in religious philosophy of St. Maximus the Confessor

The article considers the influence of eastern patristics on the content of the notion «sobornost». Studying the works of St. Maximus the Confessor the author makes an attempt to trace the evolution of his religious philosophy through the main aspects: ontological, gnosiological, ethic, which are closely connected with theological problems.
