One of the brightest experiments of moral philosophy was AA Ukhtomsky's "dominant theory" (1875-1942), developed by him in the 1920s and 30s. It has not only a natural-scientific (the field of physiology), but also a philosophical-moral (both religious) aspects. For Ukhtomsky, the authority of the Christian canonical texts was indisputable. He often referred to the Gospel and the Old Testament, the patristic literature, the fathers of the Church (Macarius the Great, Gregory the Theologian, Abba Dorotheus, Isaac the Syrian, and John Chrysostom), and often quoted them (most of the last two); on the collection Limonar, "Treasure spiritual" Tikhon Zadonsky, "Pillar and affirmation of truth" PA Florensky (with whom, however, did not fully agree). His teaching was one of the manifestations of the deep, constant beginnings of domestic life and consciousness.
