Intuitive Projections of Personality in Indicators of Investigators' Performance

Introduction. The purpose is to determine the psychological conditions of the influence of intuition on the effectiveness of investigators’ professional performance. Materials and Methods. Methods of determining the intuitive potential of personality developed by E. A. Naumenko were used. The effectiveness of investigators’ professional performance was revealed by the method of expert assessment according to the proposed qualification requirements and real assessment of the successful work. The sample consisted of 292 investigators of different departmental subordination. Results and Discussions. On the basis of factor modeling models of personality of effective and ineffective investigator are defined, graphic models of correlations of properties and qualities of investigators' personality depending on the level of manifestation of intuitiveness properties are constructed. Conclusions. The factor of intuitiveness of personality determines the success and efficiency of investigator’s professional performance. In the personality of highly intuitive and low-intuitive investigators there are meaningful differences that can serve as a certain basis for evaluation, professional selection, professional suitability of specialists for work in the position of investigators.
