The modern implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation is transforming traditional labor values, redefining the role of a person in the professional environment. The article examines how technological progress affects the perception of work: the reduced importance of routine tasks shifts the emphasis to creativity, critical thinking and emotional intelligence. Survey data and cases from industries where automation has changed the requirements for employees, causing an increase in demand for adaptability and continuous learning are analyzed. The dual effect is emphasized: on the one hand, increased productivity and new opportunities, on the other - the risks of professional disorientation and inequality. In addition, the author systematizes theoretical approaches to the concept of "labor value" in the digital age, analyzes cases of transformation of the perception of work in sectors with different levels of automation, and formulates some scenarios for the adaptation of labor values to algorithmic management. Based on this, the author concludes that the influence of artificial intelligence on labor values is of fundamental importance to distinguish between traditional and cognitive automation, which determines the qualitative differences in their impact on professional activity.
