Artificial intelligence as a destructive factor in the humanities, historical sciences and creative industries: towards the formulation of the problem

The current domestic regulatory framework is unable to regulate the rapidly changing situation in education, science and the creative sector associated with the active introduction of artificial intelligence. Issues of copyright protection when using generative tools, problems of preserving national cultural heritage and historical memory from distortion and falsification, a set of social problems arising in the process of replacing creative workers with neural network tools - these and a number of other modern challenges require an immediate legislative response. The rapid introduction of neural networks into the educational sphere inevitably discredits the accumulated knowledge in the humanities. Artificial intelligence creates an alternative reality that destroys the boundaries between scientific knowledge and cultural heritage, on the one hand, and a pseudo-cultural and pseudo-historical simulacrum created by a neural network, on the other. As a result, modern young people find themselves immersed in cognitive chaos, where real works of science and culture coexist with the machine absurdity of neural network while not being able to reliably determine the origin and reliability of the information they need. The educational and cultural sovereignty of the Russian Federation depends on the efficiency of legislative activity in determining the legal and ethical boundaries of the use of artificial intelligence: the massive use of foreign neural networks compiling foreign sources of information in an information war is fraught with subordination of national public discourse to alien, externally imposed interpretations, values and interpretations. The consequence of such a development of events will inevitably be the degradation of national culture, the distortion of Russian and world history, and the “abolition” of national cultural heritage.
