Artificial intelligence in teaching languages

The article analyses the possibilities of using artificial intelligence technologies in teaching foreign languages in order to increase the motivation of students at non-linguistic universities and automate the educational process in the field of higher education. Examples of tasks generated by artificial intelligence are given, their advantages and disadvantages are highlighted, and examples of tasks for mixed groups are given. It is noted that at the moment artificial intelligence technologies cannot completely replace a university teacher. Active participation in the formation of educational material, comparison of texts and exercises generated by artificial intelligence and written by people, significantly increased student involvement in the learning process.
