Artificial intelligence in criminal proceedings

It is a common fact that scientific and technological progress does not stop, on the contrary it is developing rapidly. What some time ago seemed like science fiction and could not be explained has now become a reality. Recently, almost all areas of human activity have been using the capabilities of artificial intelligence. Justice, including criminal proceedings, as we can see, is no exception, such advanced technologies as videoconferencing, audio recording, automatic distribution of criminal cases between judges, etc. are used even today. In this regard, the article considers the organizational and procedural problems of using high technologies, including those applicable to the rights of participants in criminal proceedings. We have analyzed the potential of using artificial intelligence in criminal proceedings,its impact on criminal proceedings, composition of the court, considered the issues that arise and possible ways to solve them.
