The article gives information about the art of manaschi, the nature of the narrators of the epic Manas, about the reasons why they began to tell the epic, the sanctity of the epic, the narrators-manaschi as a whole. The author compares the narrator-manaschi with the bridge that connects the past with the present, admires their unique art, which is unique in its uniqueness and originality in a world beyond the human mind, as the Kyrgyz people adhered to this "shrine" and lived following to its laws. Further, he focuses on the fact that it would be fruitful to teach the students a lesson on the biography of the storytellers "Manas", describes the methods and techniques of conducting such classes. Enumerates the qualities that must be inherent in this manaschi: a rich inner world, a broad worldview, rapid logical thinking, possession of some magical power, reflects on the art of manaschi, its mysterious inclination, talent, special respect, prestige among the people, tradition, specific secrets, receptions inherent only in the epos "Manas". Like other researchers of the epic, the author draws attention to one of the widely known in the people mysteries of the art of manaschi - dreaming and inspiration from above, not yet found scientific confirmation. The author expresses the opinion that it is impossible to find a large number of "congenital narrator-manaschi", as Manas himself chooses and inspires them. He seems to agree with the hypothesis that Manas really lived and was a historical person, and not a fictional character taken from the imagination of the people.
