The art of revolution of the first years of October in Samara

In the article the period of formation and development of art after the October revolution in Samara is considered. Researched issues relate to decoration and festive decorations of the main streets and squares, public events. The prevailing trends in the work of the Proletkult and artists subject to revolutionary tasks are observed. The main creative focus in creation of art objects of an era, stylistic orientation in accordance with plans of monumental propaganda in transformation of the city is considered. Special attention is paid to the massing and plastic solution of new monuments as an important ideological and semantic part in decorating the areas of the Revolution and the name of V.I.Chapaev, the street of Kuibyshev. Formal and aesthetic searches in the considered period of time with the destruction of stereotypes in the art and monumental design with innovative approach of an art and decorative form to the current architectural appearance of the city is revealed.
