Islamic project of socio-cultural transformation of traditional society

Based on the socio-philosophical analysis of the socio-cultural tendencies of Islam, the author characterizes such concepts as “Islamic project”, “Islamic factor”. The key provisions of scientific research of domestic and foreign researchers within the framework of the topic under consideration are presented. The features of the Islamic factor of socio-cultural phenomena, processes, essences and transformations are described. The Islamic vision of the prospects for the development of modern Muslim civilization is highlighted. A socio-philosophical analysis of the socio-cultural potential of Islam was conducted, which allowed us to establish the presence in it of progressive spiritual and moral potential that can play a significant role in the transformation of modern Muslim society. The main elements of the ideological core of the Islamic project are highlighted. It is concluded that its implementation can ensure the sustainability of inter-ethnic and intercultural relations with the preservation of national, cultural identity of multi-ethnic society.
