The ismaili motives in Tajik-Persian poetry

The paper focuses on the role of Ismaili poetry in Tajik-Persian literature of X-XII centuries. This topic has not yet become the research object for literature specialists. Based on original writings of the classics of Tajik-Persian literature and research of Tajik and foreign experts the author of the paper demonstrates the significance of Ismaili literature and importance of its study. Except analysis of scientific works of Tajik and foreign researchers the author focuses on works of poets and philosophers of X-XII centuries little known to public. Such works include «Aliname compiled by the XI century poet Rabe». Paper also describes other works with Ismaili motives, such as «Chung» («The Album of Poems») - kind of Shii poetry anthology and «Divane Kayemiyat» («Poems of the Resurrection») of the XIII century Persian poet Hasan Mahmud Kotib.
