The investigator’s fulfillment of the prosecutor’s written instructions as a prerequisite for re-submitting of the criminal case to the prosecutor

The article analyzes the criminal procedural legislation in the field of regulation of written instructions from the prosecutor to the investigator in a criminal case returned for additional investigation. The purpose of the research work is to identify the imperfections of the law, problems that hinder the effective interaction of employees of the supervisory and investigative bodies at the stage of completing the preliminary investigation and resolving the issue of sending a criminal case to court. Taking into account the analysis of the existing practice in the Russian Federation, solutions are proposed to improve work in this direction, including changes in legislation.
