The using of college archival materials in teaching the discipline "History"

The article discusses the functional significance and experience of using archival documents in the Chelyabinsk Energy College named after S. M. Kirov on the example of an open lesson on the topic «New economic policy in Soviet Russia and the formation of the USSR. Industrialization and Collectivization». The methodological foundations of conducting a teaching lesson in history in the second semester of the first year using college documents from the 1930s - 1940s of the XX century are presented. The features of the organizational-target stage, the stage of motivation of educational activity, the stage of updating the basic knowledge and experience of students, the stage of primary assimilation of new knowledge, activity reflection are revealed. Examples of the use of the technology «inverted classroom», digital educational resources, etc. are given. The experience of participation in the classes of veterans, teachers who worked in the college and devoted themselves to its formation are presented.
