Use of azithromycin in complex differentiated therapy of chronic urethroprostatitis associated with chlamydial infection

This article presents the results of examination of 35 patients with chronic infectious urethroprostatitis. By means of biomolecular and cultural tests complex analysis of pathogenic agents was performed. Antibacterial therapy was prescribed taking into consideration the data of this study. The results demonstrate effectiveness of macrolide antibiotic Xemomicin in therapy of patients with chronic urethroprostatitis associated with chlamydial infection.
