Using digital Skype tools in English classes to develop communicative competence according to the FSES (Federal state education standard)

The article discusses the use and practical application of digital Skype technology in school education. The author presents the experience of using four main Skype tools for educational purposes, considers the use of the following components on the Education Microsoft “Skype in Class” website: Skype lessons, Mystery Skype, Virtual Travel, Guest Lecturer. The ways to expand the linguistic environment of schoolchildren, to improve their speaking skills and practical use of the foreign language mentioned in the FSES (Federal State Education Standard) are characterised. The article is based on practical experience and feedback from participants in this international interaction.
