Using Digital Educational Resources in Developing General Professional Competencies for History Teachers

This article examines the role of digital educational resources (DER) in developing the general professional competencies of future history teachers. It emphasizes the importance of integrating digital libraries, multimedia platforms, virtual museums, historical maps, and specialized educational services into the educational process. It analyzes the potential of the digital environment for developing analytical thinking, communication skills, the ability to process information, and the ability to apply an interdisciplinary approach in professional work. The article highlights the pedagogical conditions for the effective use of DER, including methodological support, the organization of independent and project-based student activities, and the development of a digital culture. It concludes that digital educational resources are an important tool for improving the quality of history teacher training and ensuring their professional readiness for work in the modern educational environment.
