The usage of the role-play as a means of formation of foreign language communicative competence in teaching students specializing in foreign economic activities

The article defines the importance of communicative-oriented teaching at higher-education institutions, aimed at increasing the ability of students to communicate using a foreign language. The role of interactive teaching methods in the process of students’ foreign language training majoring in Customs Studies in the context of the use of a role-play as a means of forming their professional and foreign language communicative competence is emphasized. There is a description of the stages in the role play process as one of the interactive forms while training students of non-linguistic universities.
