The article focuses on identifying the specifics of creative abilities and the patterns of their formation in the study of primary school age, due to the fact that it is during this period that the main prerequisites for their development begin to unfold. Speaking about the practical component of the implementation of the development of creative abilities of children of primary school age, it should be said that it remains insufficiently disclosed, since many points of view regarding the psychological conditions of the formation of abilities are rapidly changing, children's generations are changing and, accordingly, the technology of teachers' work must change. The main purpose of the study is to identify the role of children's creativity in the development of creative abilities in children of primary school age.
