Use of distance education technologies in international projects of pedagogical university

The international activity of modern Russian higher education institutions is determined by the need to integrate the system of Russian higher education into the world system, taking into account the preservation and development of the traditions of Russian higher education, requirements for the modernization of higher education. International cooperation is not only a prerequisite for the support of a higher education in Russia, but also a mechanism for the implementation of geopolitical and foreign economic national interests. In this situation, there is a problem of implementation of university international activities in terms of the integration of Russia into the European educational space on the basis of multimedia technologies. The aim of the article is to analyze the structural and content characteristics of international projects related to the use of distance learning technologies in the system of continuing pedagogical education. To study the problem the theoretical methods of scientific literature analysis, synthesis and generalization of pedagogical experience were used. The experience of using international projects at the Pedagogical University based on the use of distance learning technologies was presented; the principles, structural and content characteristics of international projects related to the use of distance learning technologies in the system of continuing pedagogical education were revealed. The results can become the basis for implementing international projects with distance learning technologies at the Pedagogical University.
