Use of films in English language teaching

The article substantiates, in terms of the development of language skills, the rationality of the use of video materials in the educational process, namely in the teaching of English in general education schools. The relevance of the topic of this article is due to the increasing introduction of elements of cinema in the learning process. The article indicates the benefits of learning a foreign language with the help of video materials, also gives examples of grammatical constructions and idiomatic expressions.
