The use of the information and communication technologies in foreign language teaching: peculiarities and prospects

The article deals with the role of the information and communication technologies at the classes of the English language with the students of the non-linguistic departments. There are described the peculiarities and prospects of the use of the information and communication technologies in the English language teaching. The author presents the examples of the information resources that are useful for the improvement of the forms of the organization of the linguistic education.
