The article discusses the importance of using innovations during education at the agrarian universities. Modern education is different in that the latest scientific achievements are being increasingly introduced into educational process. This requires the rapid conversion of scientific information into training one on the part of a teacher. The study proposes the algorithm of innovative pedagogical activities at the agrarian university, which consists of two stages. The article describes the features and possible difficulties of each stage. One of the effective means of improving the professional training of students majoring in Agriculture is to increase the level of theoretical and practical training for innovative activity in the context of differentiated education. This is facilitated, in particular, by the involvement of students in research activities, which allows one to develop their personality characterized by the ability to search and find new creative solutions. The authors note that the introduction of didactic innovations is becoming more selective, the university lecturers deliberately choose the means that improve the quality of learning process.
