Using mind maps in speech therapy work with children of determination

The article researches the advantages of using mind maps in speech therapy work with children of determination whose numbers are steadily increasing every year. Undoubtedly, such children require a special approach. The main tasks of educators are to select effective methods for working with these children and to enhance the pedagogical capabilities of parents. Among the many effective and accessible methods for developing speech in children of determination is the method of mind maps. The advantage of mind maps is that the recording of materials has a branching structure, spreading from the center to the edges and gradually branching into smaller parts. The effectiveness of applying this method can be observed in all participants of the correctional process. An important additional benefit is that practically all components can be handed over to the child. The child not only acquires the necessary skills but also develops neatness, responsibility, and mutual assistance; learns to interact with others, think, and imagine.
