The role of the case method (case study), which contributes to the formation of psychological readiness of employees of the information and public relations departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia to carry out activities under conditions of negative information and psychological influence, is analyzed. The author's approach to the creation and presentation of cases is presented. Examples of cases are given, the peculiarities of information perception by employees of the information and public relations departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are analyzed. Recommendations for the practical application of the case method in the system of professional training of the considered contingent of employees are proposed.
