Using mobile applications in teaching vocabulary and grammar in secondary school EFL classes

The article is devoted to the analysis of popular mobile applications in order to identify the effectiveness of their use in teaching EFL at school. The relevance of the study is due to the development of scientific and technological progress, thanks to which a wide variety of auxiliary information tools, resources and learning technologies are available at present. They are designed to increase students' motivation, making the language learning process more efficient and interesting. The authors studied the advantages of using mobile applications in English lessons when teaching vocabulary and grammar to schoolchildren, in particular, and also presented the results of a scientific experiment conducted with 5th grade students in one of the secondary schools of Rostov-on-Don.
