The purpose of our research was to establish the effectiveness of introducing broad beans variety “Fanfar” into the diets of broiler chickens. Beans were introduced as a feed mixture to broiler chickens of the Ross-308 cross at a rate of 10 %, 20 % and 30 %. Based on scientific and economic experiments on broiler chickens, we found that replacing soybean ingredients with “Fanfar” beans contributes to an increase in the average live weight of cockerels by 3.7-8.0 % and hens by 2.8- 4.3 %. The viability of broilers in the 3rd and 4th experimental groups increased by 100 %, the feed conversion in the 3rd and 4th experimental groups was more effective - by 2.4 %. We recommend introducing cross breeds into the diets of broiler chickens “Ross-308” fodder beans of the “Fanfar” variety at the optimal input rate of 20 % per 1 ton of feed.
