Use of regional words in the B. A. Mozhayev's novel "Alive"

This article is devoted to the study of the regional vocabulary of the Ryazan Region in the novel of Boris Andreevich Mozhaev «Alive». Among the dialectisms in the writer's story, the main part is composed of words used in Ryazan dialects, in particular in the dialects of the inhabitants of the Pitelinsky District of the Ryazan Region, where Boris Andreevich Mozhaev was born and raised. Regional words allow the writer to brightly, figuratively draw pictures of rural life, landscapes, depict his native land. The study of the regional word is most convenient to lead by thematic groups and in this article we turn to the following: clothes and hats, peasant huts and life, vegetation and fishing. At present, the overwhelming majority of these names are preserved exclusively in the speech and memory of representatives of the older generation as a result of their loss from use.
