The article touches upon the topic of the advantages and disadvantages of existing social networks in relation to additional professional education. The authors propose for use modified social networks of a new generation, which are based on new approaches in the field of secular ethics, which makes it possible to study regardless of time and place, as well as expand the circle of professional communication. As a result of the analysis of social networks as a tool for additional professional education, the authors made a conclusion about their undoubted benefits and the need for their widespread use in the learning process.
